Troy McAllister - Setting High Expectations: From 12 Players to 14-0 - 2019 USA Football National Conference

As head coach at Wendell Phillips Academy High School (IL), coach Troy McAllister recently won the Gatorade Coaching Excellence Award, guiding his team to a state title, the only state football title ever won by a Chicago Public League school. 

Working with student-athletes at Chicago’s Wendell Phillips Academy, McAllister doesn’t settle for half measures. Under his tutelage, Wendell Phillips’ players hold themselves to a higher standard on and off the field. McAllister will share how setting high goals for himself, his coaches and his players has led to widespread success.
