Jake Stout is a Pacific Northwest native, having raced for Portland Christian as a prep athlete and continuing on to Willamette University, where he was a Division III All-American in cross country (3x) and track. Post Collegiately, Jake ran for Mike Dilley and the Greater Boise Running Club, earning a 20th place finish at the 2006 Club Cross Country Championships in San Francisco and set his 5k PR of 14:13 the following spring at the Mt. SAC Invitational.
In 2008, Jake received a Master’s degree (MS) from Boise State University in exercise and sport science, and in 2014 earned his doctorate of physical therapy (DPT) from the University of Washington. He currently works at Optimal Results Physical Therapy in downtown Portland and has coached at Roosevelt High School in cross country and track since 2016.
