New Jersey New York Track Club’s head coach, Frank Gagliano says he’s looking for good people who want to train and compete. He has cultivated an atmosphere of athletes who consider themselves a team, rather than individuals focused solely on personal success. Loving the team aspect of Track and Field, Gagliano also enjoys relays, which his athletes regularly compete in, and have even broken the world record in the indoor 4xMile relay. He encourages athletes to have more going on in their lives than just running full time- to have other jobs, and get involved with the community. He has a philosophy that may have developed during his years as a college coach, in which he works to develop humans rather than just athletes.
