Short Hurdle Patterns provides an overview of how track & field coaches can use specific patterns of performance to successfully develop their short hurdlers. The DVD explains how coaches can identify those patterns and then employ them to easily communicate the expectations/goals that they have for their hurdlers to their athletes, to identify potential problem areas that their athletes might have between hurdles, and to identify cause-effect actions in hurdling. The DVD also presents a series of exercises and drills that coaches can employ to develop their hurdlers, as well as outlines why a focus on speed should be an underlying aspect of all of these activities. The DVD also discusses the need for properly warming up and details the seven attributes that all successful short hurdlers possess. In addition, the DVD explains and demonstrates the key factors involved in hurdling.
