Mike Fanelli has spent the last quarter century coaching post collegiately, boasting 14 Olympic Trails qualifiers under his guidance and was appointed head coach of several of the US national teams. As an athlete he has put in 105,000 miles of running. After starting his athletic career during the running boom of the 70s he has immersed himself in the sport. He recounts some of his favorite stories from his past, including getting to know Arthur Lydiard, and how his experiences have shaped him as a coach.
